DPS: Father left injured girls at Kendall County crash scene

Authorities said Moran apparently ran off into the woods. A two-day manhunt by DPS and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office led to Austin, where police caught up with Moran after a brief foot chase.
Moran was driving over the speed limit on FM 1376 when he lost control of the vehicle and it rolled multiple times, ejecting a 14-year-old girl and a 3-year-old girl from the vehicle. After the car came to a rest, Moran fled the scene on foot, abandoning three injured girls who were all his daughters. The 3-year-old girl sustained the worst injuries and is currently in critical condition, while the 14-year-old girl and an 8-year-old girl who was trapped in the vehicle both sustained likely serious but less severe injuries. Reports state that Moran, who has a criminal past, was wearing an ankle monitor and speeding home to meet his curfew. He was also breaking a protective order that he was under which required him to stay away from his children. Police eventually found and arrested him
