Javier Castillo, 47, Lilia Castillo, and 13-year-old daughter killed in pickup collision with Amtrak train on FM 794 in Harwood, Texas

A family of three are reported dead after their vehicle was struck by an Amtrak train at a railroad crossing on Saturday night. DPS Officials said the accident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the railroad crossing on FM 794 in Harwood. Officials believe the driver went around the railroad crossing when he was struck by the train. The driver was identified as Javier Castillo, 47, and passengers were his wife Lilia Castillo and 13-year-old daughter.
