A man is in critical condition at University Hospital after an alleged hit-and-run wreck Monday night on the Northwest Side.
A man is in critical condition at University Hospital after an alleged hit-and-run wreck Monday night on the Northwest Side. William Collier, 55, was crossing the street before 8:30 p.m. in the 9000 block of Wurzbach Road, outside of a crosswalk, when he was hit by a Kia Sol that fled the scene without helping, according to San Antonio Police Department spokeswoman Romana Lopez. Collier was hospitalized with a head injury, according to Lopez. The owner of the Kia later arrived at the scene to tell officers who was driving the car, according to Lopez. Officers found the driver, Cheryl Ann Wilson, 58, and brought her back to the scene, according to Lopez. Wilson said she left the scene because she does not have a driver's license, according to Lopez. Police charged her with failure to stop and render aid. Bail was set at $50,000.

This isnt entirely true. Yes she did hit him and leave but he also was found in possesion of drugs and paraphernalia. If his condition was listed as critical why did he leave the hospital AMA? Why did he fail to attend any of the court proceedings yet reappear months later via numerous phone calls attempting to extort monies from her two daughters. I am one of those daughters and i surrendered recordings to the DA's office of the attempts which were later confirmed as truth. My mom was wrong but at the same time so is/was this man. Its sickening to know that what this man and his companions have tried to do to our family is so unjust but not heard of yet my mother is all around the net
