Brandon Batres killed when his motorcycle crashes on U.S. 281.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner's office has identified the man killed Wednesday night in a motorcycle crash as Brandon Batres, 23.

The medical examiner's office said Batres died of multiple blunt force injuries in the accident, which occurred in the 21000 block of U.S. Highway 281 North, in the southbound lanes near Evans Road.

Batres crashed around 7 p.m. It was unclear if he lost control of his motorcycle or was hit by another driver, but police said several cars ran over him after he hit the ground.

Paramedics worked for about 20 minutes to save Batres' life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
