A train crashed into a pickup truck that was stopped on the tracks on San Antonio's south side Friday evening. The accident occurred near I-35 and Zarzamora after 7 p.m. Friday. Officers reported that traffic had backed up on the highway access road, causing the Ford pickup to stop on the railroad tracks. A slow-moving train struck the truck and spun it out of the way. The truck then struck another pickup that was behind it. No one was hurt in either vehicle. The tracks were cleared by about 8:20 p.m. Officers reported that the driver of the first truck had outstanding city warrants and was arrested.
