Witness: 9-year-old girl learning to drive wrecks into home in northwest San Antonio.

Local firefighters were called to the northwest side of San Antonio after receiving reports of a vehicle wrecking into a home in the 6500 block of Spring Branch, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

Witnesses at the scene stated that a 9-year-old girl was being taught how to drive by a woman inside the vehicle just before the wreck.

Police said a 2-year-old boy was sitting on a couch inside the home when the car tore through the living room. A 10-month-old infant was also inside the home at the time and was transported to an area hospital.

The accident happened just before 3 p.m., near Babcock and Prue roads.
