A 72-year-old woman was hit and killed early Saturday morning as she was crossing a North Side street. The accident occured around 7 a.m. in the 8500 block of Huebner Road near Eckhert. Police say Bonnie Heath, who was using a wheeled walker, was walking her dog when she attempted to cross the street outside of the cross walk. A blue Honda Element driving East on the roadway did not see Heath and struck her.
