Suspected drunk driver crashes into patio at Mayfield and Endicott Streets in San Antonio, TX

A suspected drunk driver caused a path of devastation on San Antonio's south side. Police say early Saturday morning, the truck sideswiped a telephone pole at Mayfield and Endicott, knocked down the street sign, ran through a chain-link fence, then took out part of a tree. The truck crash-landed about 30 feet away into a family's patio. The driver of the pickup truck had to be extracted from the vehicle and was taken to University Hospital. Police aren't sure yet if he'll face charges. Check back for updates on this emerging story.
