The good Samaritans were only able to rescue one man, believed to be in his mid-to-late 40s, who was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.
Two people died and one other seriously injured in a fiery collision on Loop 410 Saturday around 2:40 p.m. when the driver of a moving truck lost control and crashed into a concrete pillar. The truck then caught fire. Two people were pronounced deceased at the crash scene. One other occupant was badly burned and was airlifted to a hospital in serious condition.
