One dead, two critically injured after Wasatch County car crash

The crash happened at about 7:20 p.m on Tuesday on State Road 248, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The female driver was heading east in a Ford Mustang when she swerved to miss a deer, lost control, and crashed into a westbound Pontiac Grand Prix. The Grand Prix hit the Mustang in the passenger door, killing a female passenger, according to UHP. Both drivers were transported to Park City Medical Center in critical condition.

According to Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Jalaine Hawkes, Brenda Wardle, 54, of Marion, was killed in an accident on SR-248 just after 7 p.m., when the driver of a car she was in attempted to miss a deer, lost control of the car, veered into westbound lanes and collided with a second car.
