Crash on US-40 kills 1 near Strawberry Reservoir

At least one person is dead after a serious crash on US-40 near Strawberry Reservoir, dispatch confirms. Officials say two cars collided around 1:30 p.m. on US-40 near mile marker 45. Emergency crews pronounced one person dead at the scene and took another to the hospital by medical helicopter in critical condition.

A teenage boy is dead and his mother is in serious condition after a crash near Strawberry Reservoir, and authorities expected SR 40 to remain closed in the vicinity into Sunday evening.
