One person was in critical condition and three others were seriously injured after a truck ran off a west Uintah County road and rolled.

The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on 5000 North between 2500 East and 3500 East when the driver of a pickup truck lost control, according to Uintah County Sheriff's Cpl. Troy Slaugh.
One person was in critical condition and three others were seriously injured after a truck ran off a west Uintah County road and rolled.
Uintah County sheriff’s Corporal Brian Fletcher said the accident occurred 4 p.m. Wednesday when the driver, a 24-year-old Myton man, lost control of the westbound vehicle and crashed at 5000 N. 2500 East.
One person, ejected as the truck rolled, was flown by medical helicopter to a Salt Lake City hospital in critical condition. Three other occupants were taken to Uintah Basin Medical Center in Vernal with serious injuries.
The identities of the injured were not immediately released.
Fletcher said speed and alcohol were believed factors in the crash, which continued to be investigated by the sheriff’s office and Utah Highway Patrol.
