Morgan County officials mourn animal control officer killed in ATV accident

Pentz had worked for Morgan County Animal Control for three years. On Facebook Monday, friends and family members changed their profile pictures to a graphic of a dog paw with Pentz's name written across it, "Animal Control" written in a blue band, and "EOW 4/12/2015," standing for end of watch.

An animal control officer died in an ATV crash over the weekend. Paula Pentz, 47, of Coalville, died Sunday while trying to round up some horses that had wandered off her property in the Lost Creek Reservoir area. During the roundup Pentz crashed and the ATV landed on top of her. Pentz was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
