Cyclist dies in Lehi crash

Police are still investigating how the collision happened, but "there's no indication of foul play or that either the cyclist or driver were distracted"

Lehi police have identified Noreen MacBean, of American Fork, as the cyclist who died in a crash Saturday.

MacBean was reportedly part of a cycling team, and Loveridge said she was with one other member of the team at the time of the accident. 

American Fork cyclist killed during training ride identified

Macbean's friends in the biking group remembered her Sunday as an uplifting friend and "a mother to a lot of people."

"She would talk about the goals for her year and usually her goals were set around who she was going to help," said Kim Casper, remembering conversations with Macbean on their annual snowshoeing trip.

Authorities identify cyclist hit, killed by semitrailer in Lehi

Silva said a 37-year-old woman, later identified as Noreen Macbean of American Fork, was traveling with a group of other cyclists when she was struck by the truck and killed. Both the cyclist and the truck were traveling northbound on 1200 West.
