Mayra Ramirez was driving a Ford Explorer about 2:30 a.m. Sunday when she was hit in the intersection of 27th Street and Harrison Boulevard when police say a car driven by a 17-year-old boy ran a stop sign.
Ogden crash injures 4; police suspect alcohol involved
At approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday, a blue 2014 Chevrolet Cruz was traveling eastbound on 27th Street in Ogden when it ran a stop sign and collided with a tan 2002 Ford Explorer traveling northbound through the intersection on Harrison Boulevard, according to Ogden police.
Four hurt in Ogden crash; police suspect alcohol was involved
"The investigation is continuing but investigators believe that alcohol is a factor," according to a police news release.
Mayra Ramirez was driving at around 2:30 a.m. when she was struck by a 17-year-old boy who ran a stop sign at the intersection of 27th Street and Harrison Boulevard. After striking Ramirez's vehicle, the teen's vehicle continued through the intersectino and struck a parked car. Ramirez was listed in serious condition with multiple fractures and head injuries.The boy and an 18-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries as well. Investigators believe the teen was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
