A veteran ski instructor at the Deer Valley Resort has died of injuries suffered when he collided with a lift tower pole.

Uzieblo was skiing on the Bald Mountain ski trail known as the Bird's Eye run, when he crashed into a chair lift pole and sustained severe injuries. He died at the hospital days later, and his death was ruled an accident.
