Utah motorcyclist dies following crash

Coy Clayburn, 22, was driving his Harley-Davidson west on Highway 40 on near 800 South when another vehicle turned in front of him to go east, said Roosevelt police Officer Luke Stradinger. The two collided almost head-on at about 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 19. Stradinger said Clayburn was wearing a helmet, but suffered several broken bones. 

Duchesne man dies from injuries suffered in motorcycle crash

Officers said Jordan Jensen was waiting to turn left onto the highway from 800 South about 5:30 p.m. Jensen, 30, saw another vehicle making a right turn off the highway onto 800 South and apparently believed he was clear to make a left turn, investigators said.

A Duchesne man has died at a hospital about a week after an accident on Highway 40 in Roosevelt. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 11:00 a.m. at the Duchesne LDS Stake Center. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was cited for failure to yield.
