UHP looking for female fugitive after I-215 crash.

Already wanted on a drug-related warrant, a Cottonwood Heights woman was on the run Wednesday after allegedly rolling a stolen car on Interstate 215 and running away into the night.

Police Looking For Woman Involved in Rollover.

The search is on for a woman police say rolled her car and took off. The woman involved apparently has a warrant out for her arrest and the car she was driving wasn't hers.

The accident happened close to 9:30pm Tuesday night, when 33-year-old Marcy Riley rolled her car while going westbound on State Street at Interstate 215.

Utah Highway Patrol troopers are still trying to figure out why the car rolled over. They're not sure if Riley got distracted or swerved to miss something, and they couldn't ask her because she fled the scene after the accident.

Troopers also say the car was stolen and belongs to her boyfriend. They are looking for Riley to try and piece together what happened during and after the crash.

New charges will be filed against Riley and an additional warrant will be added to the one she has already.
