Police say it appears a Chevy truck ran a red light and hit a car carrying a female driver, a male passenger and a baby. The male passenger was killed in the crash.
Officials ID man killed in SLC crash
A 28-year-old passenger of the Neon, identified as Marcus Ortega of Salt Lake City, died from his injuries at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. Police had originally stated he was the driver of the vehicle. Another adult driving the Neon and a 5-year-old girl were also in the car. The girl suffered minor injuries, Lougy said.
