SPRINGVILLE, Utah — A 9-year-old boy who was hit by an SUV in Springville Wednesday night has died due to his injuries, police confirmed Thursday.

In a posting on a GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/b4z4x5tw) seeking help in defraying medical and funeral expenses, Dyal's family noted that the boy had been pronounced dead early Thursday morning at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.
