Two die in single-vehicle crash in Accomack County
The accident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on Monday on Lankford Highway (Route 13) at Knotts Landing Road (Route 702). According to Virginia State Police, a 2004 Nissan Armada driven by Lauren K. Burris was traveling westbound on Lankford Highway in the right lane, when the driver lost control, veered off the road and struck a light pole.
