The Chesapeake Police Department stated that the crash occurred at West Military Highway and Snowden Street.
According to the Chesapeake Fire Department, a tractor-trailer hauling shredded paper was traveling across the track when a train hauling grain hit it around 12:40 p.m.
The truck driver suffered minor injuries.
