Police: Car hits pole, overturns after driver runs red light

Police say the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo was waiting at the light in the southbound left turn lane of Jefferson Avenue, waiting to turn onto Brick Kiln Boulevard. The traffic signals for the southbound lanes turned green, but the left turn signals remained red. The driver of the Chevrolet continued onto Brick Klin and made a left turn while the light was still red, said police.
