Klink said a building official will look at the structural integrity of the house on Tuesday. Until then, the homeowner will stay with relatives. One eastbound lane of Pruden Blvd. is expected to be closed until about 10:30 p.m. Klink said the cause of the crash is still under investigation, and charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
No injuries were repoted after a tractor-trailer drove into a farmhouse in the 5300 block of Pruden Boulevard (Route 460) Monday night in Suffolk, Virginia. The accident occured around 7:00 p.m. when the eastbound truck left the road and drove through an enclosed porch attached to the two-story house. The 83-year-old homeowner was at home but was not injured. The driver of the truck, identified as Kevin Maur Bowden, 47, was also unhurt, but has been charged with reckless driving.
