Six students, driver taken to hospital after school bus accident in Suffolk
A bus driver and six students have been taken to the hospital after they were involved in an accident in Suffolk on Monday. Everyone involved received an emergency medical assessment on the scene.

The two-vehicle crash involved a Toyota pickup truck and happened around 4:20 p.m. in the 1700 block of Nansemond Parkway, according to Suffolk police spokesman Tim Kelley.
A school bus coming from Nansemond Parkway Elementary School was in an accident with a Toyota pick-up at around 4:20 p.m. in the 1700 block of Nansemond Parkway. The bus driver and six students were taken to a local hospital for treatment. All others recieved medical assessment on the scene. The road was closed for 45 minutes after the incident. No other details have been released at this time.
