2 vehicles crash into building in Suffolk; 5 injured

Five people were injured after two vehicles crashed into a building in downtown Suffolk, Tuesday afternoon. Police say a Chrysler Sebring and Honda Accord crashed into a retail building, formerly known as Uptown Varieties, in the 400 block of Carolina Road, around 3 p.m. The five victims, three men and two women, were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The retail building was empty at the time of the crash.
