Police: Weather, speed led to deadly I-295 crash
Virginia State Police say a man was killed and three others injured in a crash on Interstate 295 south earlier this week.
Orellana was driving a van south on I-295 at about 2:06pm when he departed the roadway and ran into a tree. Neither Orellana or any of his passengers were wearing seat belts, and Orellana was killed while three passengers were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Currently police believe that Orellana was driving too fast for conditions, which caused him to lose control.
