Van crash kills four church members in Dinwiddie Co.

Four people were killed on Route 460 when the driver of a Ford F-450 truck hit the back of a Ford E-350 multi-passenger van that was turning into Mt. Zion Church in Dinwiddie, according to Virginia State Police.

A state police statement says the impact caused the van to flip several times and sent the truck off-road and into a guardrail.

A state police spokeswoman identified the truck driver as 47-year-old Robert Allen of Norfolk. She said charges are pending against Allen.
