Mona Webb, 44, Corky Webb, 51, injured, taken to hospital, after their motorcycle collides with a car at an intersection in Stanleytown, Henry County.

The driver of a car was cited in a collision that injured two motorcycle riders late Tuesday night.

Corky Webb, 51, and his passenger, Mona Webb, 44, both of Bassett, were injured in the crash around 10:25 p.m. at the intersection of Route 57 and Route 755 near Stanleytown. Both were taken to Martinsville Memorial Hosptial for treatment.

Corky Webb was riding west on Route 57 when he was hit by a 1991 Chevrolet car that was trying to turn into the Stanley Mart convenience store, troopers said. The driver of the car wasn't injured and was cited for failure to yield right-of-way.

Both Corky and Mona Webb were wearing helmets, troopers said.
