Eddie W. Todd, 45, killed, after his pickup leaves the roadway on State Route 7 near Philomont, crashes into a ditch and overturns, partially ejecting him from the vehicle.

Virginia State Police said one man was killed after a vehicle overturned in Loudoun County early Saturday morning.

Police said the crash occurred on Route 7, just beyond Yellow Schoolhouse Road. The truck ran off the right side of the road, into a ditch, and overturned.

Investigators said the driver was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected from the truck. He died at the scene.

The driver who died was Eddie W. Todd, 45, of Philomont, Va. Investigators said speed was a factor in the crash.
