Washington authorities have identified a Tualatin man killed Thursday morning in a 28-car crash along Interstate 5 in southwest Washington.
One person died in a crash in snow on Interstate 5 near Ridgefield, Wash. Thursday, state police said.

Vancouver Public Works has 17 vehicles outfitted with combination plows and deicers to handle both snow and icy conditions. Officials warned that neighborhood side streets do not get plowed due to higher demands for arterial roads.

A man was airlifted to a hospital after a two-car crash Tuesday evening in The Acreage, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said.
The wreck took place just east of an intersection where a boy died and three other people were injured last month.
The crash occurred just after 5 p.m. on Northlake Boulevard east of Hall Boulevard, about eight miles west of Florida’s Turnpike, said. Capt. Albert Borroto, Fire Rescues spokesman.
Two people riding a motorcycle were seriously hurt Monday morning after a crash in suburban West Palm Beach.
The wreck occurred around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Belvedere and Benoist Farms roads.
Palm Beach Fire and Rescue tweeted that two patients were airlifted to St. Mary's Medical Center.
The road was closed for more than an hour but back open by 8:45 a.m.
A deputy at the scene said both of the victims on the motorcycle are in very serious condition.
The driver of a motorcycle died Sunday night after crashing into a car in suburban West Palm Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
The crash took place at Summit Boulevard and Congress Avenue around 6 p.m. Sunday, said a sheriff’s spokeswoman.
The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on summit and the car was pulling out of a gas station at Summit and Congress.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue personnel declared the motorcycle rider, later identified as Marlody Baker Campos Jr., 24, dead at the scene, police said.
Authorities stated the crash occured at Pike Road and Southern Boulevard. Rescuers stated two people were injured and had to be extricated from their cars. One of the victims, a man in his 30s, had to be airlifted to St. Mary's Medical Center. The second victim, a man, was sent to Wellington Regional Medical Center.
A wreck involving a motor scooter Wednesday morning injured two people in Wellington.
The crash occurred around 7 a.m. near the intersection of Palm Beach Point Boulevard and Sunnyland Lane.
When rescue crews arrived, they found two patients lying on the road, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Cpt. Albert Borroto.
The two patients were taken by Trauma Hawk to St. Mary's Hospital.
Five people have been injured, three seriously, in a rollover crash on I-95 near the Lantana Road exit, said a spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Rescue crews responding to the 10:17 a.m. crash found that several people had been ejected from their vehicles.
An initial report indicated that one person may had been ejected onto the Tri-Rail tracks, causing the rail service to be temporarily suspended.
No one was found lying on the tracks, and a short time later Tri-Rail service was resumed.
One man was transported to Delray Medical Center as a trauma alert after suffering injuries in a single-vehicle rollover accident, said a spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Fire rescue crews responded to the accident around 1:00 p.m. in the 3100 block of Woolbright Road.
Upon arrival, crews found a car on its roof and the only occupant of the car laying in the roadway. The patient was pulled from the car by bystanders, Borroto said.
