A 57-year-old man faces charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence after a rollover crash Thursday night, Feb. 27, on Roeder Avenue.

A 57-year-old man faces charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence after a rollover crash Thursday night, Feb. 27, on Roeder Avenue. The Ford Ranger driven by Thomas Peter Tom had been speeding at 60 mph in a 35 mph zone around 9:40 p.m. on Roeder. The truck crashed and may have rolled multiple times before landing on its side. Tom and a 24-year-old woman in the passenger seat somehow escaped with just scrapes and bruises. Police suspect Tom was intoxicated. He was taken to St. Joseph Hospital as a precaution and to have his blood drawn.
