Trooper: Acme pickup driver reading text crashes head-on into car

Jeff Hruby, 39, was driving his 2005 Dodge Dakota west at 8 a.m. in the 21000 block of Parson Creek Road in Skagit County when he looked down at his phone to read a text, said Trooper Keith Leary.

A pickup driver from Acme was arrested Friday morning, Sept. 14, after he crossed the center line while reading a text message and crashed into a Honda Civic, seriously injuring the other driver, according to Washington State Patrol.What to do immediately after a serious accident A serious car accident can quickly take over your life.
