The man killed in an Everett crash Thursday night has been identified as Paul S. Linari, 21, of Everett, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. A man was killed in a crash Thursday night into a guardrail in Everett, and another man from the vehicle tried to run away. Police tracked him down and detained him for questioning. A woman was injured in the crash and treated at a hospital. Police say the dead man was found in the road after the crash and died at the scene. The other man ran off as officers arrived. He was found in a search of the area. Arriving officers learned the Jeep was traveling westbound on W. Mukilteo Blvd when it sideswiped an eastbound vehicle and veered back through its lane before striking the guardrail on the north side of the road, according to police reports.
