Logging trucker struck, killed north of Hamilton UPDATED

Francis said it appears the driver’s truck was having brake trouble while he drove south down the logging road carrying a full load.

At about 5:30pm Rector was apparently having trouble with the breaks on his logging truck when he got out of the vehicle to inspect it. Unfortunately, something caused the truck to roll and it struck Rector, leaving him dead at the scene.
