Arrest made in fatal crash in Sunwood Lakes Monday.

Thurston County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a 36-year-old Thurston County man for vehicular homicide after a crash in the 7600 block of Thru Lake Dr SE in the Sunwood Lakes Development southeast of Lacey. The crash occurred at approximately 8:25 p.m. Monday.

The 49-year-old victim was from Lacey and was a front seat passenger in the 1994 Jeep. The arrest happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. The male driver was suspected of being DUI and after being treated at Providence St Peter Hospital was booked into the Thurston County Jail. The blood alcohol content results are pending; the samples have been sent to the state toxicology lab.
