49-year-old person killed, 36-year-old man arrested on multiple charges, after a single car crash in the Sunwood Lakes area of Lacey.

The 49-year-old victim was from Lacey and was a front seat passenger in the 1994 Jeep. The arrest happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. The male driver was suspected of being DUI and after being treated at Providence St Peter Hospital was booked into the Thurston County Jail. The blood alcohol content results are pending; the samples have been sent to the state toxicology lab.
