Rescue underway after boats overturn near Olympia

So far, Coast Guard officials can only confirm two boats are overturned in the water.

Olympia man missing from capsized boat found dead

A sailor missing since Saturday was found dead on Sunday, the Thurston County Sheriff's Office said.

The search and rescue effort began Saturday and continued Sunday morning to find Jay R. Berglund, 46, an Olympia man who went missing Saturday afternoon after a 22-foot sailboat capsized and sank in Budd Inlet, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.  

Olympia police state that rescue crews are searching for one person in the water after two, possibly three, boats overturned in the Puget Sound, about four miles north of Olympia.
