Police say woman crashed after wild Redmond pursuit.

Police are totaling up the damage after a wild pursuit and chase in Redmond Tuesday night.

The only person seriously hurt was the driver who investigators say caused the wreck. Officers said they believe the woman was intoxicated. Dispatchers first started getting calls about her driving an SUV erratically about 6 p.m. The driver continued into Bellevue before she made her way back to Redmond. Police said she hit one car then, then another, after running over spike strips and crashing on Avondale Road. “The 30-year-old driver was actually pinned in the vehicle. She had to be extricated and was taken to Harborview. We suspect alcohol and drugs being involved,” said the Redmond police. The woman will likely face multiple charges including DUI, hit-and-run and felony eluding.
