SEATTLE -- Over 5,600 Seattle City Light customers were without power Wednesday after an accident involving one of the company's workers at 23rd Avenue and East Pike Street. Seattle City Light's website said power was expected to be restored by 5 p.m. Medics were also evaluating a second patient at the scene, according to SFD. The second patient is a 56-year-old man with first degree burns. The employee was taken to Harborview in serious condition after falling 20 feet from a ladder, according to Seattle Fire. The Seattle Fire Twitter account said a transformer had blown.
