State Patrol: 15+ cars hit, traffic backups, in I-5 hit-and-run

The State Patrol reported about 5:45 p.m. that the incident occurred on northbound I-5 between Columbian Way and Interstate 90, where a driver traveled in the wrong direction and hit several vehicles.

The State Patrol says a man arrested for hitting a dozen cars on I-5 in Seattle Wednesday night had been arrested two days ago in Oak Harbor, for driving under the influence of drugs.
