Amtrak-pickup collision: 1 person dead

Burlington Northern Santa Fe spokesman Gus Melonas says the crash shortly before 7 p.m. Monday happened about 40 yards from a public rail crossing on BNSF right of way. He had no details on the pickup truck driver.
An Amtrak train has collided with a pickup truck about 19 miles south of Tacoma, Wash., in a crash that killed the occupant of the truck.
