Jogger injured in hit and run in Tacoma
A Tacoma mother and teacher is recovering from injuries suffered in a hit-and-run crash as police look for the driver responsible.
The crash happened Wednesday night around 8 p.m. at the corner of L Street and South 19th Street. Christel Elliott was running a route she runs often, just a few blocks from her home. Relatives say she was crossing L Street when she was hit.
