Good Samaritans hurt while trying to help another

The Good Samaritans were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. Costa never got their names, but he wanted to share their story to give them the credit they deserved.

Haase and Erickson had both pulled over to check an overturned vehicle on Belfair-Tahuya Road for anyone in need of help, when they themselves were struck by a car driven by Docie Burch, who had lost control on the icy bridge. Both men were injured, and while Haase remains in critical condition Erickson has been treated and released. Both Burch and a nearby resident, Jason Costa, stopped to aid the injured men and contact emergency services. Burch has been arrested for vehicular assault.5 things to do immediately after a serious accident A serious car accident can quickly take over your life.
