Authorities said a 56-year-old man was killed in a crash Sunday in Lincoln County around 3:00 p.m. Police said John Helton, 56, was driving west on Miles Creston Road at Seven Bays Road when he crossed the center line and hit Thomas Boynton, 56.

Authorities said a 56-year-old man was killed in a crash Sunday in Lincoln County around 3:00 p.m. Police said John Helton, 56, was driving west on Miles Creston Road at Seven Bays Road when he crossed the center line and hit Thomas Boynton, 56. Boynton was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said he was not wearing a seatbelt. Helton was taken to Sacred Heart by Medstar. Washington State Police said charges are pending.
