What money damages are recoverable in a death claim? Every death from an accident is tragic. When a death is the result of someone else’s negligence, certain survivors may make a wrongful death claim against those responsible. Close relatives may recover monetary damages for the loss of financial support, as well as for medical, funeral, and burial expenses, lost earnings, and in some cases for pain, suffering, and loss of love and affection. Learn more about fatal motorcycle accidents and wrongful death claims here…

In response to Laura's post: I am so sorry to hear of this horrible accident and the loss of Mr. Bacon's life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, and all who love him. My heart is also with Frank and Billie Watson, my dear friends! Yes, Laura, that "old guy" is my friend! He more than "feels bad"...I'm sure he's devastated!! Knowing someone was killed in an accident you were found at fault in....how can that not devastate you? Frank has a heart as big as the universe...and of course it's broken! I understand your frustration, but I hope you will see Frank as a person. It could have been you, or me driving that truck. It was a horrible accident. I hope they will finally get a traffic light put in at this site, because apparently there are accidents there frequently. Please be safe out there on the roads, everyone!

Tom was my friend. Although I will miss him.I will never forget him.

Really none of this is to the point. A man lost his life. Let's let his family, friends and loved ones grieve with no BS. I agree just a yeild ticket now that's something elths. There's no sugar coating a mistake made that cost a man his life. He should have been more careful considering what could be at cost. I'm sorry that many years behind the wheel give me a break pay attention people. There's no bringing him back RIP THOMAS BACON AND MY LUV GOES OUT TO UR FAMILY STAY STRONG.

Why when you kill someone in a motorcycle accident do you just get a failure to yield ticket. That is so wrong. SO WRONG. In so many ways. I'm sure or I hope this old guy feels bad. But it ain't right. Go figure Oregon. You are so wrong . Just a dam ticket. Wth
