Man suffers life-threatening injuries after being hit by SUV in downtown Spokane

One man was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning with life threatening injuries after being hit by a car in downtown Spokane at 2nd and Browne.

The bus for the Northern Kentucky men's basketball team, which is in town to play the Eastern Eagles, was at the stoplight when the collision happened. Molly Hutson, the team's trainer, grabbed her work case and ran to aid the victim until paramedics arrived.

A man was walking in a crosswalk in downtown Spokane when he was struck by a white SUV. Bystanders were able to provide aid to the man until paramedics arrived. He was transported to a local hospital and his current condition is unknown. Accident is still under investigation.
