The crash happened just before 9 p.m. about 4 miles northwest of Pullman, the Washington State Patrol said. One person died, the WSP confirmed. The deceased person has been identified by WSP as Dina Williamson, age 28.

A 12-year-old boy from northern Idaho crashed into a tree while driving an ATV near Lewiston. Two 10-year-old girls were on board at the time and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The boy was flown to Sacred Heart Medical Center for injuries.

Delores Galloway, 88, of Yakima, was traveling westbound on State Route 24 while Antonio Mendoza, 66, of Union Gap, was heading northbound on SR 243. Galloway failed to stop her Ford 500 at the stop sign and collided with Mendoza.
