Two men were injured when their pickup truck went off Blaine Road, sliding into a ditch and hitting an embankment early Monday, Feb. 3. David L. Rebman, 43, was driving a 1975 pickup truck southbound on Blaine Road toward Shipyard Road when it veered off the road about 12:08 a.m. Rebman and passenger Colin J. Golden, 25, were transported to St. Joseph hospital. Rebman was treated and discharged, and Golden remained hospitalized in stable condition as of Monday. Golden was not wearing a seatbelt. It was unclear if Rebman wore a seat belt. Troopers suspect drugs or alcohol may have been involved, and charges are pending.
