Three semis crash on Snoqualmie Pass

About 7:45 a.m., the Washington State Patrol said the left lane was blocked and tow trucks were on the way.

A pickup spun out on I-90 while descending from the summit at Snoqualmie Pass, causing three semi-trailers to crash, according to one of the truck drivers. One of the semis tipped onto its side after he lost control trying to avoid the spun-out pickup, but the semi driver is OK. The two other semis seemed to have struck the overturned semi. Snoqualmie Pass conditions were freezing rain and gusty winds west of the summit, and the road was bare and wet with slush and ice in places with no restrictions in either direction.5 things survivors of a commercial truck accident need to know After someone is seriously injured in an accident involving a commercial truck, they struggle to deal with injuries, medical treatments, lost work and wages, and growing medical bills. Commercial truck accidents are more complicated than other types of vehicle crashes, since the resulting injuries are often more severe, and insurance coverage for commercial vehicles is often complex, involving multiple carriers with higher policy limits.
