Yakima woman injured in Highway 12 accident
The patrol said Pinon was cited for driver inattention and following too close. The press release did not say why Izguerra-Leal’s vehicle was stopped.
Just before 6:00pm, Izguerra-Leal's Explorer was stopped on Highway 12 when another Explorer driven by Erika F. Pinon, 31, that was traveling in the same direction rear-ended her. Izguerra-Leal was injured in the accident, but has already been treated and released, and Pinon was not injured but was cited for following too closely. A serious car accident can quickly take over your life. Dealing with doctor appointments, losing pay from work, and worrying about your physical and financial future all take a toll. It is important to take charge of the situation and begin the process of recovering from a car accident or personal injury claim.
